The National Green Growth Roadmap

The National Green Growth Roadmap for Cambodia is a comprehensive strategy developed by the Ministry of Environment in collaboration with various governmental ministries, international organizations, NGOs, donors, and development partners. The roadmap aims to address the impacts of climate change on social and economic development, environment, and livelihoods in Cambodia by promoting environmentally sustainable and socially inclusive growth. It emphasizes the importance of participatory assessments, envisioning sustainability and green growth, experimental implementation of policies, learning from monitoring and evaluation activities, and specific actions such as city development planning, reducing emissions from deforestation, research on climate change vulnerability, dissemination of educational materials, and promoting renewable energy use. The roadmap is guided by a long-term holistic strategy to achieve green growth and sustainability in Cambodia.
