The Cambodian Mine Action and Victim Assistance Authority (CMAA), a government agency, works hand-in-hand with international and local NGOs (HALO Trust, MAG, Cambodian Mine Action Centre, etc.) to clear landmines and assist victims. Over the past three decades, more than 4 million landmines and UXOs have been cleared “with help from NGOs,” a result of this partnership in the peace/humanitarian arena.
