Malaysia's core road-traffic legislation, primarily enforced by PDRM. Alcohol relevance — its most direct alcohol-control role: Sections 44–45G criminalise drink-driving (being unfit to drive due to alcohol, driving over the prescribed breath/blood alcohol limit, and causing death/injury while impaired), carrying penalties up to 20 years' imprisonment for fatal cases. Enforced via roadblocks and breathalyzer operations, especially during festive seasons.
