The objectives of this law are:1. to encourage innovation, scientific and technological research and development; 2. to stimulate and promote internal and external commerce and investment; 3. to promote the transfer of technology to the Kingdom of Cambodia in order to facilitate industrial activity and the development of the economy; 4. to provide protection for industrial property rights and to combat the infringement thereof, as well as illegal business practices.
