1. Guideline for Applying Child Participation: Cambodia ratified the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child on 15 October 1992 and the Constitution of the Kingdom of Cambodia in 1993 stated that state shall protect the rights of the child as stipulated in the Convention on the Rights of Child, in particular the right to life, education, protection during the wartime, and from economic and sexual exploitation.
