Cambodia's Science, Technology, and Innovation (STI) Roadmap 2030, launched to support the country's goal of becoming an upper-middle-income nation by 2030, focuses on five core pillars: Governance, Education, Research and Development, Collaboration, and Ecosystem.

Key highlights included:

Foundational Governance: MISTI oversaw the implementation of STI policies across various ministries, aligning the roadmap with other national strategies like the Industrial Development Plan.

National Research Agenda: The roadmap prompted the drafting of high-priority research frameworks focusing on sectors such as education, health, and energy.

Sectoral Roadmaps: MISTI expanded the strategic guidelines by formulating specialized tech roadmaps, including AgriTech, EduTech, and HealthTech.

Innovation Promotion: Large-scale events like the Cambodia Tech Expo (CTX) were held in Phnom Penh to connect technology developers, investors, and international agencies to boost the national innovation environment.
